The Mountain Dog Mission

We believe that every dog deserves a chance, and that no dog is "damaged". Through our rescue and rehabilitation program, we work to rehabilitate surrendered, rescued, and "problem" dogs, and then find them homes based on their individual needs. No dog in the care of Mountain Dog Mission will EVER be euthanized due to behavioral problems, or due to their breed.

Who our dogs are

We rescue dogs from a variety of circumstances and have no breed restrictions. We take many dogs in from kill-shelters, but also accept owner surrenders and strays. We will gladly work with breed specific rescues, or other organizations in need of acute rehabilitation services.
